South Lake Tahoe Market Up-Date-Evidence that the buying activity is increasing, five offers were submitted on one property this past weekend. The property was located off North Upper Truckee and yes it was priced to sale and yes it had a great setting, but 5 offers shows a very active market. House was dated and covered with snow but still attracted a lot of investors. Lots of low end vacation homes are available in South Lake Tahoe. I finally feel confident in saying that the absorption phase of the market will be in full gear this spring and summer. Now is the time to buy property in South Lake Tahoe. There is a Ski Run condo on the market for $229,000-wow, great price and in good condition. You can now buy Ski Run condos for the price of the Wildwood condos down the hill off Pioneer Trail.
